HYDERABAD, Aug 23: Following the submission of an application by the relatives of the deceased electrician, Yasin Kachi, the DPO, Hyderabad, has directed the investigation police of Qasimabad to include the secretary, Hyderabad gymkhana and former administrator, District Council, Javed Junejo, in the investigation of the death of electrician.

Kachi was electrocuted while restoring the power supply to the residence of Junejo after it was disconnected for the non-payment of dues, on August 20. Kachi was electrocuted as he was not provided any protective gear by Junejo.

The DSP (investigation) told Dawn that the police, on Thursday and Wednesday raided the residence of Junejo but he was not found there.

He claimed that Junejo was trying to pay compensation money to the family of the deceased.
