PPP issues list of candidates

KARACHI, Aug 22: The Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians on Thursday issued the list of its candidates for the national and provincial assembly seats from Sindh, minus Karachi and one district of Larkana division.

Most of the old guards of the PPP have been retained, mainly in their traditional bastion, though there are some changes in their constituencies in view of new delimitations.

According to the list issued by the Bilawal House, Makhdoom Amin Fahim has been nominated for NA-218 and PS-43. On both the seats, Makhdoom Jameeluzzamn is his cover candidate.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah is contesting for PS-29 whereas Manzoor Husain Wassan is contesting election for NA-215; Khurshid Ahmed Shah for NA-198, Aftab Shaban Mirani for NA-202, Syed Naveed Qamar for NA-222, Syed Zafar Ali Shah for NA-212. Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani is a candidate from NA-209 with Sardar Zulfikar Ali Sarki as his cover candidate.
