Balochistan minister resigns

QUETTA, Aug 22: Balochistan minister for excise, taxation, Haj and Zakat, Mir Mohabbat Khan Marri resigned and joined Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i-Azam).

He announced this at a press conference on Wednesday at his residence with PML(QA) Provincial President Jam Mohammad Yousaf.

Provincial Information, Social Welfare and IT Minister Roshan Khurshid Barucha also joined PML(QA) on the occasion.

“I resigned to fulfil the condition of the Election Commission for contesting election,” Mohabbat Khan said in reply to a question. He said that governor had accepted his resignation.

Roshan Kurshid said she was also interested in participating in the elections.

Provincial Finance Minister Abdul Jalil Dotani was also expected to resign.
