LAHORE, May 11 A 10-member Pakistan team including five male, two female players and three officials will take part in the Judo World Cup to start from May 14 in Cairo, Egypt.

The team will depart for Cairo from Peshawar on Wednesday.

The team comprises judokas, who earned medals in the last South Asian Games.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) President Shujaat Ali Khan said although the players would surely be trying their best in the mega event, he had no hopes of any desirable results.

Squad Ayatullah (-60kg), Tanveer Ahmed (-66kg), Muzzafar Iqbal (-100 kg), Shah Hussain Shah (-100kg), Zahid Iqbal (+100kg), Fouzia Mumtaz (-70kg) and Fazilat Sardar (-57Kg).

Officials Khalid Iqbal Mahmood (manager), Talib Hussain (coach) and Mrs Amina Khadija (women's manager).
