Tribal feud claims three lives

SUKKUR, May 9 Three people were killed in an attack near Ali Bux Ogahi village in Kandhkot on Sunday.

Some people of the Ogahi tribe were going to Kandhkot on motorcycles when armed men blocked their way and opened fire, killing Kashmir Ogahi, Amanullah Ogahi and Subhan Ogahi. Ghunio Ogahi was injured.

Police shifted the bodies and the injured to local hospital and lodged an FIR against 42 people belonging to the Teghani tribe, including, Ali Dad, Ghulam Sarwar, Kuraro, Lal Mohammad alias Laloo, Ali Gul and Ali Bux.

Ogahi and Teghani tribes have been at daggers drawn for seven years. The dispute which started with an incident of cattle theft has so far claimed 85 lives on both sides.
