HYDERABAD, Aug 19: Eminent educationist and scholar Dr N.A. Baloch has gifted some valuable historical items to the museum of the Institute of Sindhology of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, for preservation and display.

The Institute of Sindhology has established a separate corner under the title of gifts from Dr N.A. Baloch and the items are displayed with brief introduction, underlining their importance.

The gifts include old pitchers, boomerang, dagger, designed stones, precious stones, fossils, old and local musical instruments and musical pipes of famous artists of Sindh and other provinces. Dr Baloch also gifted a “Kaunro” (mug) of Makhdoom Abdul Raheem Girhori and eight statues and a dagger of the Talpur period to the museum.
