KARACHI, Aug 16: The selection committee of National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) Friday announced Pakistan shooting squad which will take part in the XIV Asian Games to be held in Busan South Korea next month.

According to an announcment of NRAP here, the selection committee which met under the Chairmanship of Exe Vice President and Chairman selection committee Parvez Abbasi picked-up the team after reviewing the trials held.

During the trials two new national records were established one by Miss. Nazish Khan in Air Rifle who broke her own previous mark of 385/400 by firing 388/400 and the other by Dawood Jan who fired a score of 1143/1200 breaking his previous national tecord of 1137/1200.

The teams selected comprsing:

Pistol Team: Zahid Ali, Irshad Ali, Mustaqeen Shah.

Women Rifle Teams: Miss. Nazish Khan, Miss, Urooj Fatima, Miss, Nadia Saeed.

Men’s Rifle Team: Dawood Jan, Ayaz Tahir, Mohd. Mushtaq.

Shotgun Team (SKEET) Ahmed Sultan, Amin Karamat, Khurram Inam.

Shotgun Team (TRAP) Mahmud Sultan, Osman Sadiq, Commander Munir.—APP
