BADIN, Aug 16: A man, Shahnawaz Zour, raped a four-year-old girl, EA, in Taluka Matli, Badin District, on Friday.

Shahnawaz, who belonged to the same village as the girl, took his victim into the sugarcane fields and assaulted her. Later, while she was still unconscious he threw her in the hedges outside her house.

The girl was rushed to the Matli Hospital where doctors said she had been assaulted and she had been bleeding so much that it was impossible to treat her there.

The doctors told her family to take her to Hyderabad.

The Matli police registered a case under the Zina Hudood Ordinance. However, the culprit is at large.

APPEAL FOR JUSTICE: A gang-rape victim, N, at a press conference here on Friday, said that a landlord, Ghulam Hussain, assaulted her along with his accomplices, Esso Mallah and Hashim in Deh Charo, Badin Taluka.
