Asian Tour offers record $9m

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15: The last nine events on the 2002-2003 Asian PGA Tour schedule will lift the circuit’s overall prize money to a record $9 million, the tour announced Thursday.

The tour schedule resumes with next week’s Mercuries Masters in Taiwan and will end with the inaugural Volvo Masters of Asia at Kota Permai Golf and Country Club in Malaysia from Dec 5-8.—Reuters
