PESHAWAR, Aug 15: NWFP Minister for Irrigation Shamsulul Mulk has said that tree is a symbol of beauty and its plantation a highly noble task.

This he said while planting a Magnolia sapling at Iqra Chowk Peshawar as part of a tree plantation campaign launched by Iqra University, Peshawar Campus.

Some twenty thousand saplings would be planted along the GT Road and in important institutions of the provincial metropolis. Appreciating the varsity’s efforts at maintaining a better environment, the minister stressed the need for a follow-up action — ensuring that the planted sapling grows and matures.
