Plea for sub-campuses in Zhob dist

ZHOB is a backward district of northern Balochistan. However, its people are eager to seek education. Despite lack of government attention and dearth of educational institutions, there are students who can afford to go abroad to seek higher studies.

The sufferers are those who have no financial means to do so. The district has only one degree college whose academic programmes are confined to basic and social sciences. It is advisable that authorities concerned should expand the academic sphere to managements, computer and applied sciences, as well as establish sub-campuses of the University of Balochistan here, as they have done in some other districts of the province.
