Franchised buses in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD Aug 12: The first batch of 10 franchised buses will start plying Faisalabad roads from Aug 14.

This was disclosed by Manthar Metro Bus Service MD Rana Amanullah Khan here on Monday.

He said the Punjab government was taking keen interest in looking up the urban transport system with the cooperation of the private sector.

Exclusive rights had been given to his company to ply 40 modern buses on specific city routes which would involve an investment of Rs100 million, he said.

He said buses would be plied on urban route No 7 from Arif Road, Sheikhupura Road to Sadhar Bypass.—APP
