KABUL, Aug 11: Indian Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha held talks with Afghanistan’s warlord Abdul Rashid Dostam on Sunday.
Sinha was also expected to travel to the main western city of Herat for talks with the influential governor Ismail Khan before heading back for a farewell dinner in Kabul with ministers, foreign ministry official Mohammad Din Rahim said.
Sinha would dine with his Afghan counterpart Abdullah Abdullah and other ministers at a hotel in Kabul before flying back to New Delhi, Rahim added.—AFP
