KARACHI, Aug 11: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan will send a fact- finding mission to Karachi University to ascertain if the rights of the university employees are being violated.

The HRCP Director, I. A. Rehman, gave the assurance while talking to a delegation of the Joint Action Committee of Karachi University Teachers, Staff and Students that called on him here on Sunday to apprise him of the situation on the campus.

The JAC team told the HRCP representative of steps being taken by the university administration which, they alleged, were aimed against the representative organizations of teachers, staff, etc and their rights.
