Passengers looted

SAHIWAL, Nov 6: Highwaymen looted cash and valuables from passengers here on Monday evening.

Three bandits reportedly boarded the Faisalabad-bound wagon (MNJ-8776), collected cash and valuables in the midway and fled.

It was learnt that a police sub-inspector among the passengers got down just before the incident.

The government had issued instructions to the adda owners to check the passengers before departure. However, people at the helm seemed to have suffered due to their own negligence.
