Singer afraid to visit US

Published August 8, 2002

LONDON, Aug 7: British singer George Michael says he’s afraid to return to his home in America because of his recent new song deemed by some as anti-American.

This new video is called “Shoot the Dog”, in which a clip portrays British Prime Minister Tony Blair as President George Bush’s lap dog.

The new release by George Michael has become quite controversial. It looks like “Shoot The Dog” is not doing very well and it is likely that the singer might miss out on a top 10 place.
