Umar to lead Pakistan U-21 squad

KARACHI, Jan 19 Batsman Umar Amin has been named to lead Pakistan's 14-member Under-21 squad in the 11th South Asian Games scheduled to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from Jan 29 to Feb 8, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Monday.

Wicket-keeper/batsman Gulraiz Sadaf will be the vice-captain of the team.

Squad Umar Amin (captain), Ali Asad, Taimoor Ali, Rameez Alam, Ali Waqas, Adil Amin, Shoaib Khaliq, Gulraiz Sadaf (vice-captain), Kamran Hussain, Mohammad Rameez, Hassan Dar, Junaid Khan, Ahsan Jamil, Nayyar Abbas.

Officials Syed Naeem Akhtar Gilani (manager), Mohammad Azam Khan (coach), Riaz Ahmed (physio), Umar Farooque Qureshi (analyst), Ibrar Ahmed (trainer).—APP
