KARACHI, Aug 4: The Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) is scrutinizing the list of 260 illegally constructed buildings, after which action will be taken against structures which could not be regularized as per the existing rules, Chief Controller KBCA Syed Ali Zafar Qadri said on Sunday.

No notice is required to demolish such illegally constructed buildings, he said. All offices of the KBCA, including zonal and circle offices, remained open on Sunday to compile the details of the 260 illegal buildings all around the city, he added.— APP
