“(The) cooperation agreement will go a long way (towards the) betterment of technology transfer between the two countries” he said, adding that the Institution of Engineers of both countries should work for improving the standard and quality of the engineering profession in their respective countries.

President IEP, M.P. Gangwani said that it was a great day for the IEP and thanked the IEI president for his gesture. He informed that this was the 34th engineering society abroad with whom the IEP had signed a cooperation agreement.

The agreement is aimed at promoting the exchange of technical, scientific and professional knowledge to better serve the interests and welfare of the engineering profession and professionals and to enhance collaboration and communication in the delivering of knowledge.
