KARACHI, Aug 1: The Karachi University Teachers’ Society (KUTS) has decided to observe a day of action on August 6, when members will wear black arm-bands to protest against the harassment and anti-KUTS campaign of the university administration.

This was decided in an emergency meeting of the Executive Council of the KUTS.

The KUTS has expressed deep concern over the stoppage of deduction of membership fees of the KUTS monthly subscription. The teachers body strongly criticized the ongoing campaign in which teachers were being harassed and a victimization campaign was being launched against them.—PPI
