BADIN, July 31: District Nazim Kamal Khan Chang has said the district government will not allow anyone to use government buildings for political purposes.

He was speaking at a meeting of the Badin District Council here on Wednesday.

The district council condemned the attitudes of some newly-introduced provincial ministers towards district Nazims and demanded of the president and the Sindh governor to intervene.

Union Council Nazims, Dr Abdul Aziz, Mohammad Essa Mallah and Abdul Karim Channa, criticized the minister for local government for his attitude towards the new local bodies system.

The council also passed a resolution for action against the minister for local government.

Meanwhile, the meeting constituted a committee to chalk out a programme to celebrate the independent day.

Convenor Mirza Suhail Akbar Baig presided over the meeting.
