GUJRANWALA, July 30: Three members of a family, including a minor boy, were killed when the roof of their house in Peoples Colony collapsed during rain on Tuesday.

Rickshaw driver Abdul Rahman said he along with his family were sleeping on the roof of their house in street No 43, Y-Block. They got down when rain started early in the morning and slept in a room of the house. He went to another room.

The roof of the house collapsed and they were buried under the debris. Abdul Rahman, with the help of neighbours, removed debris and found his minor son Atiqur Rahman and his sisters Razia Bibi and Safia Bibi dead. The condition of his wife Bushra Bibi was stated to be critical at a local hospital.
