NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, July 30: The residents of Mehrabpur and Mithiani took out two separate processions against Hesco officials on Monday.

The participants of the Mehrabpur rally complained of unannounced loadshedding in the town.

They also said the consumers were receiving inflated bills which were not corrected despite complaints.

The rally was led by the district president, Pakistan Tehrik Insaf, Hamzo Khan Mughal.

The participants of the Mithiani rally, led by Ali Gohar Mallah and others, also complained of long loadshedding.

STRIKE: The sanitary workers of different parts of Naushahro Feroze district observed a strike and boycotted their work on Monday to protest against non-payment of salaries for the last three months.

The activists of the Baldia Workers’ Federation from here, Moro, Padidan, Tharushah, Bhirya, Darya Khan Mari and Kandiaro gathered at the local press club and took out a rally.

They went to the office of the DCO who was not present there.

Then they staged a sit-in on the National Highway but the police reached there immediately and dispersed them.
