HYDERABAD, July 30: Four-year-old Khawar Hussain Khokhar was slaughtered by some unknown persons in his house in Tando Jam on Monday night.

The father of the child, Sabir Ali, along with his wife, had gone to a medical store to get some medicine as Mrs Ali was not feeling well.

On their return, they saw their son lying in a pool of blood in a small room of the house.

They had four minor children who were sleeping in the courtyard.

According to police, the murderers took the child to the small room and cut his throat. The knife with which the boy was killed was left at the scene of offence.

Reports said the family had migrated from Malikwali town, Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, four months back and had shifted to the house one day back.

A similar incident is reported to have occurred with the family in Malikwali.

The police registered the case and arrested some suspects.
