KARACHI: SDA elections on Aug 1

KARACHI, July 28: The Sindh Democratic Alliance (SDA) Election Committee chief, Wasif Qavi Ahmad, announced that the elections of the office bearers of the SDA will be held on August 1 at the residence of Mir Muhammad Khokhar, and will be supervised by Agha Zafarula Shaheen. According to a press release, the general council session would start at 10 a.m., where voting would be held after the session.

Addressing a meeting of the alliance workers at the residence of SDA chief Imtiaz Ahmad Shaikh, provincial Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim said that he and his colleagues had joined the government to serve the people.

He asked party workers to prepare for the coming elections so that the SDA could deliver (if it came) to power.
