PESHAWAR, July 27: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has expedited political activities soon after its central executive committee’s decision to hold the intra-party polls all over the country on Sunday.

NWFP PPP Senior Vice-president Rahimdad Khan has said that all the district organisations have been asked to hold party elections in their areas.

All the PPP organisations had already expressed their confidence in the leadership of Benazir Bhutto, and she stood elected unopposed, he added.

He said it was the sole right of the people to elect or reject anybody. Thousands of PPP activists would express their confidence in the leadership of Ms Bhutto on July 28, he added.
