ISLAMABAD, July 25: The ambassador of People’s Republic of China Zhang Chunxiang called on Admiral Abdul Aziz Mirza, Chief of the Naval Staff here today.
He remained with the naval chief for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest.
The meeting focused on a review of the existing ties in the defence field, and exploring of new avenues for their further enhancement, a naval headquarters’ press release said.
This was the inaugural visit of the Chinese ambassador after the assumption of office.
