KARACHI: Body against task force

KARACHI, July 24: Students belonging to various political groups at the University of Karachi on Wednesday announced to form an alliance to create awareness among the students and to force the government to halt implementation of proposals of the task force on higher education.

Osama Shafique of the Islami Jamiat Talaba was elected president, Amjad Bhatti and Mohammad Wali of the Punjabi Students Association and the People’s Students Federation vice-president and general-secretary of the alliance.—PPI
