SUKKUR, July 22: Three men — medical student Imtiaz Ahmed, lecturer Mir Ahmed Khoso, and his cousin Ghulam Serwer Khoso — were kidnapped from Abdul Baqi Khoso village near Kandhkot in the early hours of Monday morning.

Reports said that the kidnappers fled along with the kidnap victims, and were seen heading towards Balochistan.

The victims had gone to their agriculture field in the Tangwani police station jurisdiction, when armed gunmen reached the spot in a four wheel vehicle and opened indiscriminate fire, whisking the three into the vehicle and fleeing the scene.

KILLED: Two persons were killed by some unidentified armed men in Ali Bux Jatoi village, Shikarpur district, on Monday morning.

The armed men raided the house of Rahib Jatoi in Ali Bux Jatoi village and opened indiscriminate firing, killing Rahib Jatoi and Ghulam Mustufa Jatoi on the spot.

The incident is said to be the result of a dispute between two groups of the Jatoi tribe over the murder of a man of one of the group.
