KARACHI, Sept 7 Mansoor Alam produced a solid all-round performance as the AKU Staff maintained their unbeaten record in the fifth AKU Sports Centre Twenty20 Ramazan Colour-kit cricket tournament with a 56-run win over the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) at the AKU Ground on Sunday.

Batting first, the AKU Staff reached 172-9 in their allotted overs with the left-handed Rahim Suleman smashing five fours and three sixes in scoring 51 off only 26 deliveries. Mohammad Ali (31), skipper Adnan Jafri (25) and Mansoor Alam (20) all made useful contributions.

The RBS, in reply, were dismissed for 116 in the 16th over. Salman Hafeez hit 34 off 29 balls with five boundaries.

Off-spinner Mansoor Alam was the wrecker-in-chief with remarkable analysis as he conceded just eight runs in four overs while claiming four wickets to clinch the man-of-the-match award.
