HYDERABAD, July 20: The police have arrested a woman, her brother and father following the murder of her husband in Saeed Khan Gopang village, Kotri on Friday.

According to the Kotri police, the body of the deceased, Nisar Ahmed Abro, was recovered from the courtyard of the house of his in-laws where it was buried by them.

The man was stabbed to death. The weapon of offence was also said to have been recovered by the police.

The police claimed that Abro lived with his in-laws but his relations with his wife, Shazia, were strained.

The news of his death broke out in the area after his step-father, Gul Mohammad, visited the house of Abro’s in- laws and did not find his step son there.

He informed the police which registered the FIR on his complaint.

The deceased’s father-in-law, Aurangzeb, his widow, Shazia, and brother-in-law, Iqbal were arrested.

Quoting the accused, the police said that the deceased used to beat his wife.
