HYDERABAD, July 18: Former Sindh chief minister and PML (QA) leader Liaquat Ali Jatoi has said unless the people of Qasimabad won the national and provincial assembly seats from their own constituency their problems will not be resolved.

He was speaking at a reception hosted in his honour by the president of the Qasimabad Shopkeepers Association, Haji Rasool Bux Shaikh, on Thursday.

He said his party will soon announce the names of party candidates for provincial and national assembly seats from Qasimabad.

He claimed that he and his party had tried to serve the cause of the people and his conscience was quite clear.

Mr Liaquat called upon the people to elect honest and conscientious people in the coming elections who could fight for peoples’ rights. He said Qasimabad was as dear to him as Beto Jatoi (i.e. his native village).

He urged the people to make the correct decisions in electing their representatives in the forthcoming election.

Dr Badar Channa and Haji Rasool Bux also spoke on the occasion.
