PESHAWAR, July 15: Jamiat Tulaba-i-Arabia here on Monday staged a demonstration to protest over the murder of the activist of the organization a couple of days ago.

The JTA workers, carrying placards and banners, held protest demonstration in front of the Peshawar Press Club. Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali and Qari Fazl Akbar led the protest rally.

The protesters also demanded the government to withdraw the proposed Madaris Ordinance and take steps to curb vulgarity in the society.

According to rally organisers some unknown assailants had killed the organization’s senior leader Mohammad Ikram in Mardan when he was on way to home. But the district administration had failed to arrest the killers.
