PESHAWAR, July 14: Two people were killed in a road accident, while body of a young man was found in the limits of Chamkani Police Station here on Saturday.
A yellow cab (MRB-2336) driven by Zarjan was its way to Peshawar along with a passenger, Mehrab Jan, son of Sakhi Jan. When the cab reached Ormar locality, an speedy truck (Peshawar-335) hit taxi, killing both of them on the spot.
Driver of the truck fled after the accident. Ormar police have registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, bullet-riddled body of a 28-year-old man was recovered from a canal in Gulshan Colony. The Chamkani police have sent the body to the Khyber Medical College mortuary.
