PO, two killers held

GILGIT, July 14: Darel Police on a tip-off raided a house and arrested a proclaimed offender, Molvi Imam Hussain, a resident of Giyal Darel, who had abducted a girl some two years ago and was at large, police says on Sunday.

SHO Imtiaz, police station of Darel, a sub-division of Diamer district, some 200km from here, told APP that police was looking for him for two years.

He said Imam had abducted a girl, kept her in his custody for over two weeks and escaped when the police registered a case against him.

Mr Imtiaz also said the police had also arrested two murderers who were accused of killing Rauf, son of Saiden Shah of Lathi Gayal.—APP
