KARACHI, July 14: Under the directive of the Sindh governor, the District Coordination Officer (DCO), Karachi, Shafiqur Rahman Paracha, reviewed on Sunday the laying of a sewerage pipeline along Hasrat Mohani Road and issued instructions to the officers concerned. He said the locality was an important commercial area of the city, so the work should be completed on a priority basis.

Mr Paracha said wherever the line had been laid, that part should be carpeted at the earliest. He said street-lights should also be installed on the road.

He said being a commercial area important offices were located here and a large number of people were suffering because of the problem. He said the Governor had given instructions that the work should be completed on a priority basis.—APP
