Sanitary workers want salary

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, July 11: Sanitary staff of the Naushahro Feroze taluka council held a demonstration outside the taluka council office here on Thursday against non-payment of salary for the last three months.

Talking to newsmen, they said the non-payment of salary for the last three months had added to miseries of their poor families.

They demanded of the Sindh governor to allocate amount for monthly salary of sanitary staff of local bodies once for all so that they might get salary regularly.

INJURED: A retired policeman was injured in a scuffle over a dispute among some children in Malik village of Moro taluka on Thursday.

According to the police, four men, Dadan, Pervez, Muneer and Niaz attacked the retired policeman, Arbab Ali Rathor, and injured him over a dispute among some children.
