Six Al Qaeda suspects held

QUETTA, July 11: Frontier Corps have arrested six suspected members of Al Qaeda from Mand area near the Iranian border.

“We have arrested four Iraqi and two Iranian nationals who crossed into Pakistan illegally,” a senior official said here on Wednesday.

According to sources important documents were recovered during the raid.

“The six foreigners crossed into Pakistan from Iran through unconventional route without any legal travelling documents,” sources said and added that they were handed over to the authorities concerned for interrogation.—Staff Correspondent
