QUETTA, July 11: Pakistan Muslim League (QA) and Balochistan National Party (Awami) have entered into an election alliance in Balochistan.

This was announced by Jam Mohammad Yousaf, provincial president PML-QA, and Mir Mohim Khan Baloch, president BNP-Awami at a joint news conference on Wednesday evening.

They said that both parties would nominate joint candidates on various national and provincial assemblies’ seats in the Makran, Kalat and Quetta divisions.

The PML-QA Balochistan president, Jam Yousaf, replying to a question said that in 55-years, no MNA from Balochistan was chosen for the post of prime minister.

Responding to a question, he said that PML-QA would extend full support to federal education minister, Zubaida Jalal in election if she joins the party.

A former provincial minister, Mir Asad Baloch, speaking on the occasion said that in the October election one-to-one contest was expected between BNM-Hayee group and BNM-Awami.

Ex-senator: Former Pakistan Muslim League senator Sardar Hidayatullah Luni quit his party and joined PML (Quaid-i-Azam) on Tuesday.

Speaking at a press conference with Balochistan PML(QA) President Jam Mohammad Yousaf, he expressed his confidence in the leadership of the party.
