HYDERABAD, July 11: Hyderabad City Taluka Nazim Moinuddin Shaikh here on Wednesday expressed dissatisfaction over the sanitary conditions at the Holmstead Hall where water was overflowing from drains.

He issued on the spot directives to the anti-encroachment staff to remove encroachments constructed on the drains.

Mr Shaikh was visiting union council-8, along with union council Nazim Saleem Khan and councillors, Syed Abdur Rauf Jafri, Abdul Majeed Qureshi, Sultan Khan and Hussain Bux Hussaini.

During his visit to the Shams Cinema locality, he warned the sanitary inspector of serious consequences if the locality was not kept clean.

He took serious notice of the illegal parking near the Deaf and Dump School on the station road and ordered immediate removal of the vehicles, illegally parked near the school.

He expressed surprise over the illegal construction of a hotel by land-grabbers in the premises of the school and directed immediate legal action against the land-grabbers.
