LAHORE, July 8: Smaller than a palm size hand-made Quran is on display at the Alhamra Arts Centre for three days.

Muhammad Qamer Sultan, a young man from Faisalabad, has spent some 20 years into this masterpiece which is 1.5 cm by 2 cm only, with 623 pages in all. The smallest Quran already listed in the Guinness Book of World Record has a dimension of 2.5 cm by 4.5 cm and bears 572 pages. This is with the Iranian Cultural Centre, New Delhi.

Sultan wants the government to make efforts to get his work on the Guinness Record.—APP
