3 gunned down

BAJAUR, July 7: A prominent tribal Malik his wife and minor son were shot dead in the Mandal village, some four kilometres from the Bajaur Agency headquarters, Khaar, on Saturday night.

The deceased were identified as Malik Abdul Kareem, his wife and minor son Khursheed.

The assailants had entered the house of Kareem at night when the inmates were sleeping. They opened fire on them, killing the three on the spot.

The locals rushed to the scene after the incident, but the assailants had fled the area before they could reach there.
