DHAKA, July 3: Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf is to visit Bangladesh for three days from 29th, officials said here on Wednesday.

A foreign ministry source said that during his first visit to Bangladesh, Musharraf will hold talks with his Bangladeshi counterpart Jamiruddin Sircar and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

Musharraf was earlier scheduled to visit Dhaka briefly in December on his way back from China, but the visit was put off at the last moment amid mounting tension between Pakistan and India.—AFP
