RAWALPINDI, July 2: The newly-appointed Amir of Jamaat Islami, Azad Kashmir, Sardar Ijaz Afzal Khan, has severely criticised the government’s Kashmir and foreign policies.

Speaking at a function here on Tuesday, he said the government had failed to project the issue on international level in an effective manner. “Instead of any positive development, things are going from bad to worse.”

The JI leader called upon the government to take practical steps to find a permanent solution of the problem.
