Re-elections announced

LAKKI MARWAT, July 2: The election tribunal for Lakki Marwat has announced its judgment to hold re-election in the union council Abdul Khel.

According to court sources, in recently held local elections for district governments, Mohammad Ibrahim and Hakim Sheikh Jan Mohammad were declared elected as Nazim and Naib Nazim by the concerned authorities for the union council of Abdul Khel.

But, his rivals for the post of Nazim and Naib Nazim, respectively, Mohammad Jan Khan of Darra Pezu and Nasrullah Khan of Abdul Khel, and advocate Ikramullah Khan and Niamatullah Khan filed applications against the Nazim and the Election Commission of Pakistan in the court of election tribunal for Lakki Marwat.
