HYDERABAD, July 2: The officer bearers of the Awami National Party, Sindh, have rejected the proposed constitutional amendment package and political parties order.
In a statement, issued here on Tuesday, they said that these proposals would prove harmful for the unity of the country and jeopardize the interests of the smaller provinces.
They apprehended that the move was aimed at excluding the representatives of the smaller provinces from the senate and to enforce a unitary form of government.
The ANP leaders said that only an elected parliament was authorized to bring about such amendments.
SU: The Allama I.I. Kazi Central Library of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, in collaboration with the Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre, Ministry of Science and Technology, will hold a one-week training course for professional librarians in the third week of July.
