Shahida arrives in Dhaka

DHAKA, Nov 1: Federal Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights Minister Barrister Shahida Jamil arrived here on a three-day visit on Thursday. She was received by state minister for foreign affairs, Riaz Rehman at Dhaka airport.

Talking to Bangladesh TV at the airport, Ms Jamil said she was carrying greeting and best wishes from President Gen Pervez Musharraf for the Prime Minister Begum Khalida Zia.

She said she was visiting Bangladesh as the special envoy of the president and would present a letter of felicitation from him to the prime minister.—APP
