Robbers kill youth

SHEIKHUPURA, June 25: Robbers shot dead a youth on resistance near the city on Monday night.

Tahir Mahmud was going to his village when three robbers intercepted him on Mirza Virkan Road. The robbers opened fire when the youth put up resistance. He died on the spot.

ROAD ACCIDENTS: A man was killed while another was injured in road accidents in the city on Tuesday.

Asghar was hit and killed by a trailer near Feroze Watwan on Faisalabad Road while crossing a road.

Tariq, a labourer by profession and a resident of Bhekhi village, was hit by a speedy bus while crossing a road. He was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.
