HYDERABAD, June 25: An anti-car lifting cell has been established at the Hatri police station on the outskirts of Hyderabad to recover snatched vehicles.

The cell will also maintain the computerized record of the vehicles of the districts in Hyderabad region.

Sub-inspector Mohammad Saleem Rind of the investigation branch, Hyderabad, has been posted as the in charge of the cell which would work under the supervision of DPO Abdul Sattar Detho.

The cell has also been assigned the task of busting car-lifter gangs.
