Al Qaeda is US phantom, says JUI

PESHAWAR, June 23: The NWFP Jamiat Ulama-i-Islam (F) Deputy General Secretary, Mufti Kifayat Ullah, has said that there is no Al Qaeda network in the world.

He said that Al Qaeda was just an imaginary tool in the hands of the West and US to blackmail Muslims and to justify their illegal operations against them, their Madaris, and Jihadi outfits.

He said Al Qaeda was a label created by the US to declare the Muslims as terrorists.

Talking about the tension on the India-Pakistan border he said that it was a conspiracy against Pakistan and that it had been created to justify military rule in the country.

To a question about the Kashmir problem he said that it was a tripartite issue and should be resolved according to the resolutions of the UN.

Talking about the accountability process he said it was partial and no one dare touch military officers. He added that the process should be started from 1947 and no discrimination should be made.

To a question about the ANP’s role in the Afghanistan war he said that they have destroyed the philosophy of Bacha Khan.

He said that the ANP has always supported every Afghan government like, Noor Muhammad Tarakai, Hafiz Ullah Amin, Babrak Karmal and Najeeb Ullah etc, but not the genuine government of Taliban.

Talking about the Supreme Court decision on Riba he said once it was decided by the SC, no one would have the right to deliver any decision on its legality.
